

Activity Monitor will do just as good of a job giving you info if you ever actually need to solve a problem with a runaway process or memory issues. These tools have legitimate uses, but I can't think of a reason why a normal user would need iStat in their menu bar all of the time. For a lot of people life is better without peeking behind the curtain, so to speak.
